S R Gopal Rao is indeed the leading Optician/Optometrist in Bangalore. My First Visit to the N.R.Road Centre run by its Founder was in 1956 with my Dad. My Dad who was a resident of Bangalore City since the 1920's would have certainly been one of the First Clients. Everytime I visited this place with my Dad , Mr Gopal Rao would spend atleast half an hour and discuss with my dad on various Topics. Despite having shifted to the Cant Area we used to commute to N R Road for our Optical Needs. The Quality and service were matchless and now that they have a Branch on Residency, I have been a client and continue to avail of their Service.
